  1. Prepare mentally for the sauna barrel, and provide enough time for the sauna bath. You don't take a sauna quickly.
  2. Drink a few glasses of water in advance. Switch your phone to silent, you do not need it and you cannot use it in the sauna either. Give yourself time to focus without interruptions.
  3. Take a shower and make sure you rinse your hair so that there are no more products in your hair. Remove any makeup.
  4. You can take the sauna naked, in a wrapped towel or in bathing clothes. If necessary, you can wrap your head in a towel to protect it from the heat.
  5. Go into the sauna with an "open mind". Lay your towel over the couch and sit down.
  6. Breathe calmly and relax. Take a comfortable position and close your eyes.
  7. Listen to your body and enjoy the sensation that you experience. It is normal for you to start sweating, your heart rate slightly increases. Drink water to compensate for the moisture during sweating.
  8. If the barrel sauna feels too warm, lie down or get out of the sauna to cool off. There are no obligations in taking a sauna. Everyone experiences the sauna differently, it is not a competition.
  9. When you get used to the temperature of the sauna, you can put water on the stones. Do this with small bits at a time, experience what you like. The more water you put on the sauna heater, the warmer the sauna will feel, so experience how the “Löyly” feels on your skin. (Löyly = pour). Let the moisture caress you.
  10. Cool regularly. Occasionally just sit in the colder outside air, go swimming or just take a rest. Don't forget to drink in between the sauna sessions.
  11. Go in the sauna as much as you want.
  12. When you're done, take a shower.
  13. After the sauna, relax a little, alone or with friends.
  14. Enjoy the feeling of being "sauna".
